A wide range of yarns in wool and special blends offers solutions for every type of product for men and women, classic and sporty. We offer machine washable single and twisted yarns. We have also developed a specific stock service colour card with 50 solid and melange shades.

SPORTSWEAR

Treatments ​
ITALFIL performs various treatments on the raw top to guarantee final garments’ performances. Here are some of the main treatments.
Superwash
an essential manufacturing process to facilitate the care for wool garments that can be both machine washed and/or machine dried (Total Easy Care)
Mercerised
a treatment that not only ensures the machine-washing proof but also gives the yarn softness and a shiny appearance (recommended for functional garments)
Unshrinkable
Basolan®
anti-felting treatment for handwashable articles at 40°C
Chlorine Free
a chlorine-free anti-felting treatment
Technology
In order to achieve the highest quality standard, ITALFIL has chosen a policy of constant upgrading to the most modern technologies in the sector by investing and renewing systems and machinery.
This policy is achieved through a partnership with the most important machine producers with whom ITALFIL collaborates to develop new technologies, thanks to its flexible and varied production structure as well as its technical know-how.
The spinning machines are 90% COMPACT, a technology that gives the yarn greater regularity, strength, and elasticity, thereby better meeting market demands.
All production machines are controlled via a MES system to ensure ever-increasing efficiency and quality of the process.
